In the spotlight: Joey Stroud

Get to know Joey Stroud, the new dining services director who joined the Manor of the Plains staff back in September. Prior to this position, Joey was a manager at Applebee’s in Dodge City and Lawrence before that.

“The challenge and opportunities health care offers drew me to work here,” Joey said.

It didn’t take long for Joey to discover his favorite thing about his new job.

“My absolute favorite part of the job would have to be the residents,” said Joey.

He has a vision for the dining services team, too.

“I want to have a staff that can provide a fun, memorable experience at every meal.”

When he’s not at work, Joey enjoys his hobbies and spending time with family.

“I’m a video game nerd and musician. I’m also a family-oriented guy, but single with no kids. Just a lot of awesome nieces and nephews,” said Joey.
