  • Kurt Lampe

    Marketing Director

    BUTTON

    Before joining Manor of the Plains in February 2011, Kurt owned and managed Signature Signs Inc., developing signage for the businesses and organizations. He previously served as general manager and senior account executive for Rocking M Radio/NRG Media. Kurt has been an account executive with Cellular One, and managed the meat department for Spearville Mercantile. A graduate of Spearville High School, Kurt is a board member and past-president of United Way of Dodge City. He chaired the city’s 2008-09 United Way campaign and has served as United Way president for more than six years. He is a co-founding board member of the Ford County Humane Society and away from work enjoys raising and showing American Kennel Club dogs. He has served as a United Kennel Club agility judge from more than a decade. He was a pet therapy instructor and spent several years providing pet therapy to area hospitals and retirement communities including Manor of the Plains.

  • Wendi Barlow

    Human Resource Director

    BUTTON

    Wendi worked her way through the nursing department before being named the human resource director in 2014. She previously was the health services director. When not at work, Wendi helps out at her Dad’s horse ranch and spends time with her granddaughter.

  • Tammy Thompson

    Director of Nursing

    BUTTON

    Tammy was named health services director/director of nursing in January. She is no stranger to Manor of the Plains. She first worked at the community as a CNA, then a CMA while she was going through nursing school. She left for about nine years, but returned in 2016 as a part-time nurse. She has a nursing background in long-term care, home health and surgical services. A native of Bucklin, she had her husband James have two daughters.

  • Amanda Delgado

    Assisted Living and Home Health Director

    BUTTON

    Amanda started her career at Manor of the Plains in March 2014 as a CMA. In 2017, she went to PRN (as needed) status and took on a full time role at Minneola District Hospital as a floor nurse, working in the emergency room and surgery. She briefly worked as the assistant director of nursing at another senior living community before coming back to Manor of the Plains full time in April 2018 as a charge nurse in health care. She has been a registered nurse since July 2014. She has an associate of science degree in nursing. Before entering the health care field, she worked in quality assurance at a meat processing plant.

  • Beki Jo Vieux

    Administrative Assistant

    BUTTON

    Beki joined us as administrative assistant in September 2005. Before that she was business office coordinator for the Outpatient Therapy Department at Western Plain Medical Complex. Her past work experience includes receptionist at Dodge City Medical Center; administrative assistant at a public accounting firm; and teller and clerical duties at a local credit union.

  • Joy Wiggins

    Social Services Designee

    BUTTON

    Joy started at Manor of the Plains as activity director in January 2005. She had spent the previous 14 years in a similar position at Morton County Health Systems. Prior to that time, Joy was owner of a retail family shoe business. She earned her activity director/social service designee at Pratt Community College. Joy is accredited by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.

  • Kristi Wordelman

    MDS Coordinator

    BUTTON

    Kristi joined Manor of the Plains in February 2018 as MDS coordinator. Before entering the health care field, Kristi worked as a band and vocal teacher and school librarian in Kansas and Oklahoma. Since 2005, she has worked in the health care field in various clinical roles. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and an associate’s degree in nursing from Pratt Community College. She is a member of Borderline Theater, where she is a singer and actress.

  • Jacque Soltero

    Activity Director

    BUTTON

    Jacque joined Manor of the Plains in December 2000. In addition to her work as activity director, she has served in dining services and as a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aid. Prior to joining the Manor, Jacque was assistant manager at Golden Corral where she had worked since age 14. She is a certified activity director and has been named activity director of the year by the Kansas Activity Directors Association. She has also been active in Senior Olympics.

  • Lisa Montoya

    Assistant Activity Director

    BUTTON

    Lisa joined our team as activity director in October 2004. She worked the previous 10 years on the production line at Evans Products and helped train new employees in New York after the company was acquired by D’Addario & Co. Lisa attended Dodge City Community College and is activity director provisionally certified by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. She is also credentialed as a certified nursing assistant, certified medication aide, social service designee, activity director and home health aide. She is a member of the Senior Olympic Committee. Away from work Lisa enjoys sewing, crocheting and gardening.

  • Lisa Flick

    Dining Services Director

    BUTTON

    Lisa was named interim dining services director in December 2014. She has worked for Manor of the Plains since October 2010, staring out as a dining services aide. Before joining Manor of the Plains, she worked for 15 years as a cook for USD 240 in Tescott, Kansas, as a cook. She is a certified dietary manager, ServSafe certified, and has Gracious Dining training. When she’s not working, Lisa likes to spend time with her grandchildren.

  • Libby R. Ohmes

    Accounting Assistant

    BUTTON

    Libby became the accounting assistant at Manor of the Plains in February 2018, but she’s not a new face. She first joined the campus as a CNA in September 2005. She has been a home health aide, office assistant, biller, receptionist, patient services representative, central supply coordinator, and transportation aide. She is a CNA, CMA, and home health aide.

  • Tehren Esparza

    RN, Case Manager

    BUTTON

    Tehren joined the Manor of the Plains team in January 2017 an was named the RN Case Manager in July 2018. She started out as an LPN charge nurse while working toward her RN. She has also been restorative nurse and assisted living/home health director. She previously worked at a senior living community in Inman, Kansas, and at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. Throughout high school and college, she worked as a CNA and CMA. She has an associate’s degree in art, science and nursing and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter when she’s not working.

  • John Van Hook

    Executive Director

    BUTTON

    John joined Manor of the Plains in October 2019. He has more than 30 years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. In his most recent position, he served as the executive director of Trinity Manor in Dodge City since May 2014.
