Five Full Days of Fun for Assisted Living Week

Our community recently celebrated Assisted Living Week earlier this fall with a fun week of festivities!

To kick things off, Monday featured a bikini contest with staff modeling bikinis. While everyone looked great in their bright and sparkly two pieces, Environmental Service Director Dean Gemaehlich received the most applause for modeling the FOXY speedo. Our residents got in on the fun, too! Those pictured here with the bikinis are Ella May Dale, Dorothy Gabel, Jane Tyler, Lydia Oringderff, Wanda Henry, Fran Hogan Welsh, Shirley Ballard, JoAnne Mock, and Rita Slattery.

Other highlights from the week were orange sherbet on Orange Tuesday, bingo prizes on Blue Wednesday, a watermelon social for Red Thursday and a mashed potato bar on NFL Friday.

Hats off to our Life Enrichment team Ariadna Cervantes and Clara Contreras. The residents and staff had an amazing time celebrating!
