Esparza takes on another new role

Since coming to the community in 2017, Tehren Esparza has worn numerous hats, ranging from day-shift nurse to assisted living/home health director. Recently, Tehren transitioned into yet another new role—case manager.

“My current responsibilities are to assist with Medicare Part A—or skilled—admissions,” said Tehren. “This includes establishing rapport with the resident and their family and working with both nursing and therapy on the resident’s end goal, which is usually going home.”

Prior to joining the staff at Manor of the Plains, Tehren worked in retirement communities across the state and has come to appreciate the work environment and resident-focused approach at MOP.

“I enjoy our teamwork and the dedication our staff has toward our residents,” said Tehren.

Away from work, Tehren is also busy. She and her husband of three years are proud parents of a five-month-old daughter.
