Celebrating Anniversaries for Clara Contreras and Robin Pike

Robin Pike

We have lots to celebrate when it comes to the commitment and dedication Clara Contreras and Robin Pike have shown to Manor of the Plains over the years. Both have reached milestone anniversaries on staff, and we’re lucky to have them as part of our team!

Robin Pike celebrates 22 years

“I was working full time at a daycare and saw there was a position open for weekends at MOP,” Robin said. “I started working every weekend and loved it, so when they offered me a full-time position, I took it. I started out as a CNA in health care and took the training for a certified medication aide. I am thankful for my Assisted Living residents – they are so important to me. I enjoy working with the staff too!”

Clara Contreras celebrates 15 years

“This is my quinceañera year,” Clara said. “I came to Manor of the Plains for the CNA training and was hired by my instructor Dorothy, who was the MDS coordinator. What I enjoy most about working at MOP is the interactions with the residents. Helping and caring for my residents reminds me of how I would want someone to treat or care for my mom. I started out as a CNA and restorative aide and then accepted the Life Enrichment Director position for health services. I am thankful to have a job that allows me to work with my friends, which are also my coworkers. My residents and the staff are my extended family.”
