Local senior artists will be celebrated March 12 through 18 at Manor of the Plains as the community hosts its annual Art is Ageless® exhibit and observes the 40th anniversary of the Art is Ageless® program.Art is Ageless is a trademarked program of PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America). Manor of the Plains' Art is Ageless® Call for Entries Underway

Manor of the Plains has issued a call for entries for the Art is Ageless® juried exhibit to be held March 12 – 18, 2020. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 40th anniversary Art is Ageless calendar in 2021.Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only.

MANOR OF THE PLAINS HOSTING VETERANS EVENT

Veterans, their spouses and widows are invited to Manor of the Plains for pie and homemade ice cream from 3 to 4 p.m. November 11 at 200 Campus Drive.“We appreciate their service,” said John Van Hook, executive director. “It’s an honor to serve our area veterans, their spouses and widows each year and remember their sacrifice.”Come and enjoy cherry and blueberry pie, homemade ice cream and fellowship.

MUSIC FOR THE SOUL CONCERT WITH TACO AND TOSTADA DINNER FUNDRAISER FOR SENIORS

Manor of the Plains’ annual event is part of Dodge City DaysManor of the Plains’ annual Music for the Soul Concert with Taco and Tostada Dinner will be July 28 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe Social Center, 3231 N. 14th. The concert is a fundraiser for the senior living community’s Good Samaritan Program, and the concert is a part of the Dodge City Days festival.
