Our Leadership Team

The day-to-day operation of Presbyterian Manor of the Plains is led by dedicated professionals on our leadership team who bring a wealth of experience and specialized expertise to their positions. As employees of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, our promise to you is to live our mission by:

Jerry Korbe, Executive Director

Jerry Korbe has worked in senior living since 1979. For 19 years he was CEO for Scott County Rest Home in Scott City, Kansas, which included Park Lane Nursing Home and Park Lane Apartments. He most recently served as the Administrator of Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas. A licensed Kansas Nursing Home Administrator, Jerry has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business/data processing from Fort Hays State University.


Kurt Lampe, Marketing Director

Before joining Manor of the Plains in February 2011, Kurt owned and managed Signature Signs Inc., developing signage for the businesses and organizations. He previously served as general manager and senior account executive for Rocking M Radio/NRG Media. Kurt has been an account executive with Cellular One, and managed the meat department for Spearville Mercantile. A graduate of Spearville High School, Kurt is a board member and president-elect of United Way of Dodge City. He chaired the city’s 2008-09 United Way campaign and has served as United Way president for more than three years. He is a co-founding board member of the Ford County Humane Society and away from work enjoys raising and showing American Kennel Club dogs. He has served as a United Kennel Club agility judge from more than a decade. He was a pet therapy instructor and spent several years providing pet therapy to area hospitals and retirement communities including Manor of the Plains.


Beki Jo Vieux, Administrative Assistant

Beki joined us as administrative assistant in September 2005. Before that she was business office coordinator for the Outpatient Therapy Department at Western Plain Medical Complex. Her past work experience includes receptionist at Dodge City Medical Center; administrative assistant at a public accounting firm; and teller and clerical duties at a local credit union.


Wendi Barlow, Human Resource Director

Wendi has been with Presbyterian Manor of the Plains since July 1996 and became the human resource director in September 2014. She originally joined the Manor as a registered nurse and charge nurse. Before devoting her career to geriatric care here, she worked in clinics and in property management. Wendi earned her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing at Dodge City Community College and is a registered nurse. She is a member of the Dodge City High School Booster Club and OLG.


Veronica Batres, Health Services Director

Veronica became health services director in August 2014. Veronica joined Manor of the Plains as a nurse aide trainee in 2001. She earned an associate's degree in nursing at Dodge City Community College in 2008 and became a registered nurse. She has served in assisted living, health care and restorative care, working every shift. She has also been part-time weekend charge nurse since 2010.


Alicia Stude, Case Manager

Alicia came to Manor of the Plains as a licensed practical nurse/charge nurse in August 2004, was promoted to assisted living and home health director, and was named case manager in 2017. She had previously served as a certified nursing assistant with the Good Samaritan Society. Alicia holds an associate’s degree from Dodge City Community College.


Joy Wiggins, Social Service Designee

Joy started at Manor of the Plains as activity director in January 2005. She had spent the previous 14 years in a similar position at Morton County Health Systems. Prior to that time, Joy was owner of a retail family shoe business. She earned her activity director/social service designee at Pratt Community College. Joy is accredited by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.


Ann Russell, MDS Coordinator

Ann has been with Presbyterian Manor of the Plains since September 2001 when she joined us as certified medication aid in health care. She had previously worked as a certified medication aid at Sterling House. As a registered nurse, Ann has held numerous nursing positions including acute care medical/surgical, medical records coordinator, and quality assurance coordinator. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Fort Hays State University and is accredited as a certified resident assessment coordinator. Ann is a Member of the First United Methodist Church of Dodge City, and she is a volunteers for the FUMC Sanctuary Choir member, FUMC Youth Group Parent Volunteer, Santa Fe Trail, Cubscout Pack 168, Parent Volunteer, and Ford Co. 4H, Wilroads Garden Club, Parent Volunteer.


Gloria Rodriquez, Quality Assurance Coordinator

Gloria assumed her position here in August 2011. She had previously spent eight years as pre-op/recovery nurse at Western Plains Outpatient Surgery Services. Gloria has an associate’s degree in nursing and is a registered nurse.


Lisa Montoya, Activity Director

Lisa joined our team as activity director in October 2004. She worked the previous 10 years on the production line at Evans Products and helped train new employees in New York after the company was acquired by D’Addario & Co. Lisa attended Dodge City Community College and is activity director provisionally certified by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. She is also credentialed as a certified nursing assistant, certified medication aide, social service designee, activity director and home health aide. She is a member of the Senior Olympic Committee. Away from work Lisa enjoys sewing, crocheting and gardening.


Jacque Soltero, Activity Director

Jacque joined Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in December 2000. In addition to her work as activity director, she has served in dining services and as a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aid. Prior to joining the Manor, Jacque was assistant manager at Golden Corral where she had worked since age 14. She is a certified activity director and has been named activity director of the year by the Kansas Activity Directors Association. She has also been active in Senior Olympics.


Lisa Flick, Dining Services Director

Lisa was named interim Dining Services Director in December 2014. She has worked for Manor of the Plains since October 2010, staring out as a dining services aide. Before joining Manor of the Plains, she worked for 15 years as a cook for USD 240 in Tescott, Kansas, as a cook. She is a certified dietary manager, ServSafe certified, and has Gracious Dining training. When she’s not working, Lisa likes to spend time with her grandchildren.


Scott Stevens, Environmental Services Director

Scott joined Manor of the Plains in January 2014. Before joining the team, he worked for TCI of Kansas as a lead technician for 10 years and as the director of maintenance at Youthville for 20 years. He has an associate of arts degree from Dodge City Community College and a bachelor of science in psychology from St. Mary’s of the Plains College. He is a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a third degree knight in the Knights of Columbus.

Yvette Bell, Assisted Living and Home Health Director

Yvette joined Manor of the Plains in July 2017. She was an RN case manager for home health and hospice before joining the team. She has a bachelor of science in nursing and is basic life support (BLS) certified.
